NORMAL has more than 1,000 stores across 14 countries. Twelve of these countries are supported from our warehouse in Hedensted, while the remaining two are supported from our warehouse in Horsens.

Our warehouse in Hedensted is an international workplace with around 60 different nationalities, and there is plenty to keep moving. We are looking for a Team Leader who can create the right conditions for people to succeed, while making sure our dayly picking operation runs smoothly.

You do not necessarily need a background in logistics to succeed in this role. What matters most is your ability to lead people, take responsibility and bring out the best in those around you.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, supporting and developing a team of pickers and picking coordinators

• Creating clarity, structure and direction in the daily operation

• Motivating and guiding your team through feedback, coaching and everyday support

• Planning manpower needs and managing schedules

• Recruiting and onboarding the right people for the team

• Following up on picking performance, safety and compliance with our standards

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and turning good ideas into practical solutions

• Recognising and celebrating the difference your team makes to the operation

• Working closely with other warehouse departments to keep things running smoothly

• Acting as a role model: being a visible and involved leader in the daily operation, ready to step in when needed

Who are you?

You are the kind of leader who enjoys seeing other people succeed. You understand that strong results are created by strong teams, and you care about giving people the support, trust and space they need to do a good job.

You are approachable, organised and able to create structure without making things unnecessarily complicated. You communicate honestly and clearly, stay calm when priorities change and are comfortable making decisions when things get busy.

You do not have to know everything from day one. You are curious, open to learning and willing to develop both yourself and your team. You ask questions, listen to different perspectives and are not afraid to challenge the usual way of doing things when there is a smarter one.

At NORMAL, everyone has an important role to play. As a Team Leader, you will need to take ownership of your area, involve your team and follow things through. You give credit where it belongs, focus on the impact your team creates and help make their contribution visible.

You lead from the front and are not afraid to get involved when needed. At the same time, you know that leadership is not about having all the answers or being the loudest person in the room. It is about setting the team up to succeed, acting with integrity and creating results together.

And while we take the work seriously, we do not always take ourselves too seriously. There should be room for humour, spontaneity and a good laugh during the shift.

We also expect that you:

• Have experience leading a tea, ideally within picking, logistics or warehousing

• Have experience with a Warehouse Management System or similar tools, which would be an advantage

• Communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written

Practical information

Location: Our logistics centre in Hedensted
Working hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Shift: Dayshift, 07.00-15.00
